Every bean is roasted slowly, in small drums, until the flavour of the Shivamogga hillside comes alive. No rushing, no shortcuts.
We refine our chocolate the slow way — stone-ground for three full days until it turns to silk. Just cacao and cane sugar, nothing else.
It all started with our late grandfather, Dr. Devangi Prafulla Chandra — fondly remembered as Krishi Rushi. A double doctorate and FAO award holder, his vision was always innovative farming, and his motto was simple: "farmers are our true wealth."
He was the first person to grow cocoa in Shivamogga, forty years back. Always passionate about chocolate, he would try crude recipes for his grandchildren from farm-grown beans.
We, his grandchildren, inspired by his innovative chocolate-making ideas, are taking his dream of farm-to-bar chocolate to reality. Our chocolate reflects the same values he lived by — purity, sustainability, and respect for the farmers.
